Cycle #2, 4dpo

by Marilyn on March 25, 2003

I definitely think I have a UTI. I’m not sure what I should do. Should I call Dr. Foulk and ask the nurse? Should I just go to the Family Medicine Center like last time I had one? What a *pain*. I wish I at least had some cranberry juice to drink. That *might* help.

This is *so* not what I needed.

I got another update out today. I’m on FIRE! :) HOpefully, it’ll get showcased and I’ll hit $20 for the month. For a while there, I didn’t think it would happen. But I’ve been a busy bee the last week or so. This kitchen set is probably the best I’ve done so far. Well, so far in this month. :lol

Wow, it’s been *six* months since I opened the site. Time flies! I’m still here though! I even outlasted Shannon from The Garden Path. I never thought that would happen.

Cycle #2, 3dpo

by Marilyn on March 24, 2003

Well, isn’t this just GREAT. The power is out. K has assured me the whole northwest (or at least this area of it) is out and it’s not because we didn’t pay our bill or something.

Grr… :-x It’s been off for an HOUR. I’d ordered Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron for H on PPV and was taping it. I was also working on a totally fabulous kitchen set for my site. So I don’t know when it’ll be back on. But talk about frustrating. Without power there just isn’t anything to do.

Well, 3dpo. I’m really worried that I have a UTI. I have to pee a lot and it’s reminiscient of a UTI. That would just *suck*!

Yay! The power just came back on! It’s a miracle! I like power, it’s nice. Ahh… So time to start taping Spirit all over again. Thank god for DirecTV and the All Day Pass PPV!

Cycle #2, 1dpo

by Marilyn on March 22, 2003

K is in one of those moods this evening. To his credit, he has a headache. But LORD, he is a pain to deal with when he is like this.

Right now, we’re watching K-19: The Widowmaker. It was like pulling teeth to get him to pick it but now we won’t have to speak for at least two hours. Thank god. Love the guy, but he needs to settle down right now.

Today was nice… We went to the mall and then to Del Taco for lunch (do I need to point out that he loves to eat there while I’m not such a fan?) then he wanted to go to Home Depot and Lowes to check on some things. So he dropped me at Barnes and Noble and took H with him. So I had several uninterrupted hours to myself, to sit in a comfy chair and just read. Marvelous. However, the day has gone downhill from there. Oh well.

Cycle #2, cd 13

by Marilyn on March 21, 2003

Well, it looks like today was ovulation day! The TCOYF software gave me an egg and the monster pains I was having on my right side are gone. K and I have been doing our darndest to make sure that that eggie gets fertilized. :) Lucky for us, we have Skinemax. That has helped us tremendously.

I updated my site yet again today. That’s three times in one week! But I need something to occupy my mind. I don’t want to obsess over this.

Well, I need to up my dose of Unithroid. The Dr called in the script this morning, but because it’s Safeway, it won’t be in until tomorrow. Figures. So, until tomorrow, no thyroid meds. My last script ran out yesterday. Grr… I should have known better than to use Safeway. I guess one day won’t make much of a difference. But I’ll sure think twice before using Safeway’s pharmacy again!

With my TSH down, I know it’s just a matter of time. I’m sure that’s why I haven’t been able to conceive. Sure of it. So solve the problem and it’s only a matter of time before I’ll get a :bfp. Wow. Now isn’t *that* exciting? :)

Cycle #2, cd 12

by Marilyn on March 20, 2003

I’m watching A Baby Story right now. :) I love this show. Is it just me or is it that everytime I watch lately it’s twins? I’ve never seen so many twins on this show.

I don’t think we’re gonna have twins this month. I went for my follie check this morning and had only one. BUT it was a huge one, about 22mm! And my lining was textbook perfect, according to the doctor. :woot So I’ll either ovulate today or tomorrow. We’ll see!

My TSH levels are still up, over 6. But it’s a vast improvement from last month, when it was about 35!! They’d like to see it around .5 to 5 but my thought is the lower the better. I’d far rather have a level of .5 than one of 5. Just to be on the safe side. So it looks like they’ll have to up my dose, but Dr. Foulk wasn’t in today, so I have to call tomorrow. My pills run out after today so I hope there is no trouble. I’d hate to have to skip a day.

Oooh, major bloating on my right side. That eggie is getting ready to go!

I took an OPK at noon, but I’m not sure if it’s positive or not. I may take another one later this afternoon or this evening. I may just have missed detecting it altogether. We’ll see what my temperature does tomorrow morning.

Babies! I love ‘em! I’m addicted. I hope it happens for us soon! Oooh! Trading Spaces is on. I love that show too!
