Ten weeks, zero days

by Marilyn on September 7, 2003

Another day down. I’ve been very worried lately, waiting for the other shoe to drop. I know though, that I need to feel more positive. Good things! Only good things!

I got to finally check my email this morning. There were *more* issues with usernames and passwords but I think all is fixed and well now. Whew! Course, Susan sent me a bunch of files which took FOREVER on the dialup. I’m going to have to insist she not do that while I’m vacation.

Looks like we’ll leave tomorrow morning. Phew. Apparently, K didn’t even take it off. Numbnuts. That’s planning ahead for you.

Today was a much lazier day. Didn’t even go to church! Had the family combined birthday party this afternoon. Right now K is out at the house… again. Poor guy. I don’t think they have much more to do. And it’s not near so hot today either. Very overcast. You don’t see me complaining!

Of course, Kathy has some super cute kittens here. I wish K would just let me have one. I swear, these are pygmy cats out here. They’re tiny! They full grown cats like larger kittens. It’s incredible! And I think Shadow would love to have a companion. What a meanie. He just will not let me. :(

Oh well, nothing new there. I never get things like that anymore. I mean, shoot… where’s my sectional??

I’m kinda anxious to get back home. I need to make an update for wednesday. Let’s see. That’d be the 10th. Lord, what’ll I do? Maybe a lovebed? We’ll see how I’m feeling. The mere notion gives me the shakes. *shiver*

Well, that’s it. 10 weeks. And counting. Not home free yet!
