Ten weeks, four days

by Marilyn on September 11, 2003

Well, the two year anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy is today. I made a point not to watch any network TV today, particularly this morning. I saw enough, frankly, two years ago to last me a lifetime. It amazes me how long it’s been and yet how much worse things are in this country now. I can only hope that we can get ourselves a new president and that that will make a difference. Something has to.

Anyhow.

I got some work done today. As long as I can get out the updates, I can get some :money and that’s what is important. This month is really tight. I have tomorrows copay, my thyroid meds, ,and the copay at the end of the month. Plus, I need to get some milk. :sigh

Lord of the Rings is finally on. I’m going to tape it. Then, when Two Towers comes on pay per view, I’ll tape that too. Then we’ll at least have those two on tape to watch when we like. Then, when Return of the King comes out, we’ll get all three on DVD. Won’t that be fun?

Tomorrow is ultrasound #2. I’m hoping for a good picture. See? All these positive thoughts! I’m excited to see the little tyke. Should be moving around quite a bit. That’ll be fun. And, thank god, I’ll be done with the progesterone! Lord, I’m sick of that stuff.

I guess I should go post the update. I’ve got time. This movie is three hours long and it just started. Mmm. I’m looking forward to some peach crisp later on. That stuff is *so* tasty.

Well, my legs are shaved, my hair is clean. I’m ready for tomorrow. Should be an interesting day, if nothing else.
