Happy Halloween!
It doesn’t seem like Halloween.? For one, with the day off it seems like a Saturday.? Secondly, it’s *snowing*.? And it’s been snowing ALL day.? That’s just nuts.? I’m not really complaining though.? I love the snow.? But it feels like Thanksgiving more than Halloween.
So yesterday evening, when K drove home, we went down to Walmart for the big shopping trip.? We decided to eat at Del Taco to save on time.? H threw a fit because he wanted to have a funny face at Denny’s.? Too bad for him! So we ate and then headed over to Walmart for the grand shopping trip.? Joy Joy.? It was okay, with K there.? Not that I didn’t start to hurt 1/2 way through, but I wouldn’t have gotten anything done without him there. And we did wonderfully, made more than a few deals.
This morning started out with us going to the Eldorado to meet my parents for brunch.? K had the day off.? Brunch was good but my eyes were way too big for my stomach.? After that, we all just came back here.? It was COLD out.? Snowing!? It felt more like Thanksgiving than Halloween.
We didn’t do much, just hung out. Ate popcorn, drank hot cider.? Not bad, in my estimation. 
We had mixed grill for dinner which was *so* yummy.? Then it was trick or treat time.? We put thermals and sweats under H’s costume and a coat and hat on over it.? It was snowing, of course.? He brought back a respectable haul. :)? We had less than last year, because of the snow.? But it was good, overall.

Whoops.? Didn’t get it done yesterday.? It was a little crazy, trying to get everything done.? I got the living room done.? K did a great job on the kitchen the night before.
My hopes were of getting Makin’ Magic in the morning.? By 10 am, GameStop *still* didn’t have it out on the shelves and I didn’t know when they would.? So much for having that update ready on time for Thursday.? I just put up a note on my site, explaining.

Okay, sorry about that.? My parents showed up shortly after 4.? K was home early too so we socialized for a short while then headed for dinner at the Hacienda.? That was yummy, as usual, though I probably would have preferred Macaroni Grill but we just didn’t have time for that.
After, we came back here and K rounded up H’s costume.? They (him and my dad) took H down to go trick or treating at the dorms.? My mom and I stayed behind to talk.? She showed me China pictures and time flew rather quickly.
When they got back, H went to bed and my parents left.? In the morning, we did our own thing, K went to work and all that.? Around 10:30, my parents came by to pick H and I up and we went to the University to have lunch with K.? We took them tot he new dining hall and they seemed to really like it.? Even more when they heard it was free. 
After, we went to Walmart to get some things (fabric and a gift for H) and then back here.? My mom and I watched Dr. Phil which was just nuts.? :lol They had dinner out that evening.

Well, that beats all.? The latest expansion pack was supposed to come out today.? I was gonna head over to GameStop myself to get it.? But apparently, all across the country, stores have not had it in yet.? I had K call around noon and they didn’t have it out yet but there were boxes in the back that were unopened.? They suggested we call back later and check. Urgh. :dry? You know, I could just hop over the back fence and go unpack those things for them.? Apparently, they have better things to do. :P? Hopefully, they’ll have it later so I can install it tonight.? I need to work on the update tomorrow.
I don’t see why they can’t get these things in and on the shelves on time.? Sheesh.? People are losing their minds out there.
And it’s one week till the ultrasound.? One week till we *know*.? At least, I hope so.? If I don’t get that ultrasound, I think I’m liable to pop.? And it’ll be great to just know.? Boy or girl.? And I’ll be able to tell whether my instincts are on target or not.? We can know the name, buy things with COLORS on them… it’ll be great. :)? Oh, I so have my fingers crossed.? Cuz it would just be my luck to *not* have the ultrasound when I so want it.
I’m feeling better today.? Yay!? Yeah, I still have a lot of the symptoms but not near as bad as yesterday or Sunday.? More like Saturday.? Very manageable.? Good, because we need to clean!

Another sick update:? Still sick. 
I’ve been able to manage so far today, but my energy is in the negative zone.? I’ve been plagued with sinus headaches too.? I’ve laid down a couple of times and each time I’ve totally passed out.? I’m hoping I feel so much better tomorrow.? After all, I have to go get Makin’ Magic over at GameStop at some point.? That should be interesting.
So what have I done today?? Not a lot.? I had set the alarm on my cell phone in case K’s didn’t go off.? So it went off at 6:00 am and I tried to wake K up.? It took me a minute to realize it wasn’t K, but it was H! K was already in the bathroom. Oops!? He must have just crawled in, because K didn’t know he was out there either.? So I surprised myself and got up for breakfast.
The P’s left shortly after K went to work.? Things were awfully quiet around here.? But I was able to get stuff done.
I did an update for my site, at least.? I managed to turn a requested bookcase into a whole set so that was something. I still have to post it to the site tonight, but at least I’ll have something.? I imagine my next update will be a kitchen featuring the new stuff from Makin’ Magic.? Maybe I’ll “Siminize” it.? We’ll see.
Right now, I’m just holding my own, tryng to finish out the day.? It’s gotta end sometime, doesn’t it?? Hopefully, K will be home soon.? though I fear when he does I’ll just go right back to bed or something.? I wanna feel better!

Ugh.? I feel so awful today. :(? There’s little more frustrating than having a cold when pregnant.? There’s just nothing you can do to make yourself feel better.
I woke up awful, so I’ve not really participated in the day.? Mostly I just slept and read.? All I can really do is take some Tylenol, turn on the vaporizer and put on some vapo-rub. ? And that’ll only do so much.
K got some cough drops for me, and that’s nice.? It helps when the throat starts acting up.? But right now my main problems are congestion and watery eyes with some sinus pressure.? Ugh.? Not fun at all.
We’re having spaghetti for dinner.? K’s been slow-cooking the sauce all day.? That will be really yummy.
K’s parents are leaving tomorrow, I believe.? It’s been a really good weekend, other than being sick.? Oh well, you can’t have everything.
I sure hope I feel better tomorrow.? Since it’ll just be K and me.? Duh.? I mean me and H.? Lord, maybe I’m starting to lose my mind. :dry
We’re watching Chicago right now.? K’s in the rom working on his take-home midterm.? Of course, it’s due tomorrow.
I’m pretty sure I felt some fluttering movements yesterday.? I was laying down, real still and coughing.? After each cough, I’d feel a slight fluttering answer.? :woot
