Monday, Monday, Monday…

Yeah, I’m getting the cold.? My chest is pretty congested.? My nose and ears (big shock) are congested.? Coughing.? Ugh. With all the mucus, it’s a good thing I didn’t have this on Friday. :sick

I’m an updating fool.? I did a pink living room plus a build set since I’ll be gone for the weekend.? So I’ll put that up tonight.? Hopefully, I’ll get a subscription or two.

Speaking of, I thought to check my SimsHost account and I have 20 bucks in there!? So I requested one final payment.? Then I’m done with SimsHost for good!

It looks like we may be able to leave early on Wednesday.? K said he had to turn in his lab notebook that day.? But he asked for the day off and is going to try to get his notebook in early.? I told him to NEVER AGAIN take a Monday/Wednesday class.? It’s just not a good idea.

I seem to have gotten my apetiete back this morning.? Last night K had to turn out to Best Buy so we also went to dinner at the Macaroni Grill.? I got the scampi so I had a great lunch today.

We were amazed at all the Christmas decorations that were up.? Was it the official start to the season over the weekend and we just never got the memo?? That figures.? Ours won’t be up until at LEAST next week.? Oh well.? We need a ladder first anyhow. :tongue

Still haven’t completely regained my apetiete.? But I ate two biscuits and some bacon for breakfast.? We haven’t really had any lunch.? Today was a lazy day.? We painted some of the nativity figures.? Oh, the fun.? I get frustrated with things like that pretty easily.? K’s done a good job though.

Lord, it’s cole in here.? I suppose we should turn the heat on or something. :tongue

H is sawing logs on the cough and Shadow has cozied up to him.? I’m kicked back in the recliner with Beetoe in my lap.? K’s doing homework on the laptop.? Just caught him staring at me.? Working on a problem. :tongue

The baby has been kicking a lot lately.? Last night I even felt him kick from the outside, with my hand on my belly.? K, of course, wanted in on the action but no.? No kicks for him.? Course, the minute he walked away, the baby started kicking again.? Figures. ;)? So now I joke that H is the one that likes him. hehehe…

Honestly, I think K needs to read to the belly.? We did all the time with H but not yet this time.? So I’m thinking we should do family storytime.? At H’s bedtime each night, all gather in our room and read to the belly.? That way, we’d be reading to the belly and doing a story for H at the same time.? Good plan, in my opinion.? Anyhow, that’s it from this neck of the woods.

Holy cow!? Okay, I didn’t see that coming.

We left H stay up and lay on the couch Thursday night.? We watched all the requisite TV.? Rupert was booted. :(? Friends was hilarious and ER was tragic.? All was right with the world.

H slept in our room that night with K, so I slept in the guest room.? It took some getting used to.? Lots of different sounds.? Plus, I just had a hard time sleeping.? After a while, I just couldn’t get comortable.? Left side, right side, back… I’d feel sorta ill no matter where or how I laid.? Ugh.

Finally, about 5:40, I got up to use the bathroom.? Then an hour later, I got up for good.? I decided to go in search of my boys.? Well, I didn’t get far.? I seriously had to throw up so I dashed into H’s bathroom.? :sick? More ugh.? I must have woke K up cuz I heard him go into the other bathroom.? Of course, he overslept.? I went in and laid next to H.? It was obvious there was something wrong with me.

I didn’t haev anything fo rbreakfast, of course.? But still got sick again before K left for work. :sick Ugh!? He had to go, had a meeting.? But he said he would come home later.

Somehow, we limped through the morning.? Still not sure how.? I remember laying down and H joining me.? Course, the mucous he was making wasn’t helping MY situation. :P? K called around 10am.? He was going to stay until 12 so he wouldn’t have to take a sick day.? We managed until then.? K and H had lunch.? I had none, of course.

The whole day was a fog, really.? A really slow fog.? The day just crawled by.? K had a study group at 5.? I came out and sat in the chair.? I was feeling better.? Well, a little fever.? I had some dry toast and that went okay.? When K got home, I had some of a sandwich.? But not all!

The fever got worse.? Not a whole lot but enough to make me really uncomfortable.? Chills and all sorts of aches.? Ugh.? And Tylenol just wasn’t cutting it.? I held on for a while and eventually had to go to bed at 9:30.

This time, K slept with H in the guest room.? I slept like a LOG.? Got up this morning and felt MUCH better.? Couldn’t have much more than toast and bacon, but at least I was hungry. We decided to go to see The Cat in the Hat.? H said he wanted to go even though he was still coughing.? So we loaded up on cough drops and went.

It was very funny and Mike Myers makes a great Cat. :)? H was kinda drowsy all through it, but said he had a good time.? Afterward, we thought it best to come back home so we did.? K got H some more medicine and us some chinese takeout.? Yum!? Ate a little of that.? The end!

Poor little H!? He’s really feeling sick today.? He didn’t feel well yesterday either.? Woke up kinda draggy and coughing.? But he said he wanted to go to MOPS anyhow.? But he barely made it through.

He hasn’t hardly eaten anything in the last two days.? I’ve gotten him to eat a little and drink some.? But today the only two places he’s been is my bed and the couch.

Heck, this morning I got in bed with him.? We ended up sleeping until 11:30!? Wow!? Okay, so I’m a huge slacker.? What else is new?

Can’t say I did much else today.? Just looked after my sicky.? Actually, he wouldn’t let me do much else.? He’s been rather clingy.? Doesn’t have to sit in my lap or anything.? But he has to be in the room that I’m in.? Looks as if he’s drifted off again.? Poor kid.? His cough is really bad.? I gave him more medicine and a cough drop and he seems to be resting comfortably.

I barely was able to get the dishes done.? I didn’t even get a shower in!? So I’m a touch on the stinky side.

Hopefully, K will be home soon.? It’ snearly 6 now.? We’ve got a big TV night ahead of us.? The big helicopter crash is on ER tonight.? Woo hoo!? Add Survivor, Friends and Scrubs, and we’re busy bees!

I have no idea what we’re going to do for dinner.? I’m tempted just to drag out the frozen Totino’s pizza.? We’ll see what K thinks.? Where is that man??
