I was right about somber.? And I was right about who she was.? They pretty much rearranged the entire meeting.? We had some food, but no one’s heart was in eating.? Well, except for maybe the pregnant women. ;)? Nothing stands in the way of us eating.? Okay, well that’s a lie.? The flu does.
But I digress.
Pastor Joe was there to talk to us.? I thought that was a far better idea than cancelling the meeting altogether.? And you can’t say they weren’t prepared.? There was a box of tissues at every table.? Given my flu, I would have needed it anyhow but I especially needed it today.
We found out all the details of the accident.? She was going to visit a friend in the middle of the night.? She rolled her car around 2 am.? She broke her neck so at least she didn’t suffer.? I know K would have some strong objections to me doing that, but I know not every family is like ours.
Anyhow, MOPS is over for the semester.? I think until February, actually.? It’s going to be a long month and a half. :tongue
We had lunch with K after.? He had a bad headache, the poor thing.? He said he might come home early, but he must have started to feel better because he hasn’t.
I took a nap, pretty much as soon as we got home.? It’s amazing how being sad can really wear a person out. H watched Noggin until 3 and then came in and dozed with me.? Such is the life of a lazy, pregnant woman.
