So today was the great gift switch in Winnemucca.? We got up and got ourselves together as best we could.? Showers, breakfast and all that.? We were on the road shortly after 9:30.

Luckily the weather was on our side.? Not so much as a drop or flake the whole way.? I don’t think we could have asked for much better than that.

We got to the McDonald’s in Winnemucca just before 12.? The P’s were there already.? It was decided we would have lunch at the Red Lion.? It was only the in-laws and the two boys.? Everyone else couldn’t make it which kinda irked us.? But what can you do?

Lunch went really well, I thought.? Chicken strips which were really yummy (isn’t *everything* yummy to a pregnant woman?).? And of course, H had a blas with the boys. He was a giggle monster.

They had birthday gifts for me too, which really surprised me.? I hadn’t expected that.? The in-laws got me onion soup bowls and my sister in law got me a box and some notecards and my other sister in law got me some great Avon stuff.? Wow!? So it was definitely worth my while to come along. (dear god, that sounds snotty)

the drive back was good.? H slept the entire way.? We got back shortly after 4 so the trip pretty much took up the whole day.? So that’s all I have to say!
