And the time is here.? Actually, despite everything today has been a fairly normal day.? Another early start, at least for me.? About 7:30.? K didn’t get up for another hour.? Layabed!
H has had a rough day.? Poor guy.? He did well with Grandma and Grandpa last night, it seems.? All us “kids” went to the movies, piled in our van.? The movie was great and SO long.? It only seemed long at the end.? They kept tacking on endings, just like Tolkein himself.? ;)? But it was really good and I was so glad to finally go.
So this morning was for getting ready.? I put it off as long as I could.? H was ticked at V for playing with his cars.? So my parents gave her a present early so she’d have something to lay with.? Well that pissed H off too.? If this is a portent of things to come, I’m not encouraged.? But I’ll keep my fingers crossed regardless.
Lunch was at 1, we piled in our van and drove downtown.? We were lucky enough to find a free parking garage right across from the Fairmont.? Lunch went well.? I thought the menu was very overpriced, but it was good all around.? Another tradition intact.? I had this seafood pasta which as the daily special.? Good, but not terribly flavorful.? We took the kids through Christmas in the Park afterward.
Now we’re hanging out.? Time to go to church.? Won’t that be fun?? I’ll check in on the Big Day itself.
