Yeah, I guess they’re contractions. :eek? But they’re not as regular right now as they were before.? Ugh.? About figures I’d get to enjoy some contractions, seeing as how I have a scheduled c-section.

I did get Wednesday’s update finished.? Maybe I’ll add some things to it tomorrow if there’s time.? I still have thumbnails to make.? Ugh.? Maybe a build set?? Hmm… I just really want to get some good subscriptions this week.? I want to have PayPal finances all in order by Monday.? I’m sure I’ll get a few this week at least.

We’ve got both Jenn and Rob on backup to watch H in case we have to go in any earlier than we expect to.? That’s nice, and reassuring for us.? It’s good to have friends like that.

Time is ticking down, one way or another.? The quiet is soon to be shattered.? The quiet.? If that’s what you could call the boy chasing the dog around like a deranged maniac. ;)

One week left. By this time next week, I’ll probably be chilling it in the recovery room. And our lives will be forever changed. *gulp* We’re ready for it.

This has been quite a year for us. It’s not ever yet! Speaking of, strictly July-July, we’ve gotten a van and will have had a baby and got a house! :eek That’s a lot for any one family. But it’s past time for us to have a good year. There were so many years where we had nothing but disappointment. Yes, it all didn’t have to happen in the same year, but I’m not one to complain. ;)

Ugh. Pain, pain, pain. I think it’s mostly gas or something like that but it hurts lik ea mo’ fo’. Course, it could be contractions. But I prefer to live in denial. :) May be worth a little investigating online, just to be sure. :sigh This is my existance these days, such as it is. Now if only I could sleep.

Today’s the first day of spring and did it ever feel like it!? Very warm out.? I don’t think i t’s going to last though.? I think it will cool down this next week.? Well, I hope it will.? I’m not at all ready for winter to be over yet.? Time is moving too fast as it is!

I had a doctor appointment on Thursday.? K couldn’t go, he had a meeting.? I finally saw Dr. Bannister.? Luckily, H was pretty good.? I was down another pound again, everything else looked normal.? Pulse was no higher than it has been lately.? We got to look on the ultrasound and Dr. Jim let H hold the “wand” so he felt like he was taking part.? That was nice.? Pretty simple appointment.? I’d hoped that my appointment with Dr. Jacobs next week would be good enough, but they want me back regardless.? Frack.

Friday, we finally had our pre-construction meeting with the builder guy.? Which is kinda laughable since we are way past pre-construction.? I had to sit in the car with H.? We are our lunches and watched them build the houses across from the models.? I don’t think K learned too much new, certainly not any completion date.? But he did say they would call in about 10 days to schedule a pre-drywall meeting.? Gee, 10 days puts us about, oh, exactly the day the baby will be born. ;)? Oh well, we’ll figure it out.

Today we’ve tried to enjoy ourselves.? Last weekend just the 3 of us!? We had a lazy morning and lunch at home.? Then we got some gas and went to the mall.? We looked at fridges at Sears, got a gown and sunglasses for H at Children’s place.? Bummed around.? The Braxton Hicks were getting really awful.? We had dinner at McDonald’s before we headed home.? The day went by so fast!

Boy howdy di we have a busy weekend cleaning this dump.? Lord.? I couldn’t do too much.? Besides, having Braxton Hicks up the wazoo (so to speak), I was having cramps to boot. :P? So K did most of the work, poor guy.? But the place looks great.? And we did need to have it cleaned before everyone starts showing up.? Now hopefully we can keep it this way for another week and a half.? I’ve been on a huge laundry kick ever since.? I think I’ve done nearly every scrap of laundry in the joint.? Well, cept for bed linens.? We’ll do those this weekend.

Had my last MOPS before the baby this morning.? It was nice, I brought a bread item (Cranberry Orange Muffin loaf) and mini donuts for desert.? Everyone at our table was baby obsessed.? Heidi had lots of labor questions.? I, of course, don’t.

I spent Tuesday afternoon out at Jenn’s.? It was nice of her to let us hang out while they were doing the inspection.? I brought McDonald’s for lunch and we watched Ice Age.? We also walked down to the park which is really close to her house.? H had a blast playing at the park and the weather has been marvelous.? In the 70’s!? It won’t last.

On the way home, I swung by the homestead to see any changes.? Of course, there weren’t any. :P? I think they need to do the pre-construction meeting before they frame.? There was even more wood piled up in the front yard though.? So that’s promising.? But of course we don’t want them done TOO soon.? But I would like the framing started before the parents all come so they could see that. So we’ll see.? But that’s things ’round these parts.
