I was a doubter. I still *am* a doubter, but just less so. See, they’ve been saying all week that we’re going to get this :snow storm to rival the one we had for New Years. Call me skeptical, but I didn’t buy it. After all, that storm last week was an abberation and two in two weeks just seemed incredibly far fetched.
It took it’s time getting here but its snowing like the dickens out here this morning. Mr Callista went ahead to work, but he said he might come home at noon or something. I don’t blame him. Boy is upset because a) Mr Callista isn’t staying home and b) the snow prevents us from going out to have lunch with him as we normally do on Fridays.
Cinder got out in the garage as Mr Callista was leaving so I followed her out there. Didn’t want to shut the garage door to have her trapped out in the snow. But of course, I get out there and the garage door is acting up. Won’t go down. I see Cinder and grab her and she promptly freaks out and starts clawing the hell out of me. I got the bloody scars to proove it. Dumbass cat. Those cat scratches smart like hell.
Finally figured out that to close the garage door I had to keep my finger on the button until it was closed. Who the hell knows why. At this point, I’m just glad it closed. So the mornign is off to an auspicious beginning. I’m thinking its a *good* thing I’m not going to be leaving the house. ![]()
