I so enjoyed the last Friday Random Ten, that I decided to do another one. Cuz they’re just that fun. And also because I’m obsessed with other people knowing what ridiculous music I listen to.
- Barenaked Ladies - Testing 1, 2, 3 (I love their lyrics…and this song is no exception. Favorite line? “Out on the escarpment.” :lol)
- Wynonna Judd - Testify to Love (I used to be a mad “Touched by an Angel” junkie. This song touches my heart, every single time.)
- Kylie Minogue - Can’t Get You Out Of My Head (Great boogie in your seat music)
- Will Smith - Men in Black (I really don’t know why this is in there)
- Shania Twain - Up! (my favorite Shania song. This song is like my theme song, its so me these days.)
- Smash Mouth - Walking on the Sun (my son’s FAVORITE song, he’s constantlly making me play it for him)
- House of Pain - Jump Around (I dare you not to enjoy this one)
- Beck - Loser (a classic, runner up for my theme song)
- Queen - I Want to Break Free (oooh, this one is just great. really inspires me)
- Annie Lennox - Into the West (love love love, not only it’s LOTR connection but this song makes me think of Jackson)
There you have it. Yet another frightening glance into my soul. I dare you to come up with a more dysfunctional list than that. Just load up your favorite MP3’s into your media player of choice (Winamp!) and hit the random order button. List the first ten on the list. Simple as pie, folks. This is me. I'm a thirtysomething stay at home mom to three kids. For years I was a stay at home mom to one kid and trying very hard to have more. It took a LONG time (ie: 6 1/2 years), but finally Liam arrived and charmed us with his blue eyes and ginormous, round head. Then we got a shock: I was pregnant again and this time it was a GIRL. Our hearts and home are full at last and now that we're done having babies, we get to relax (snort) and watch them grow (not too fast now, you hear?).
