Now I’ve made it no secret that I have an intense dislike for the month of March. And just to back up my insistance that it indeed a shitty month, there’s the Ides of March. Being a rather bored soul today, I surfed around the internet, seeing what there was to learn about these Ides. I mean, I knew the whole Shakespeare referrence and all that. I guess I was interested in seeing if there were any other horrible events that happened on March 15, by way of fate or coincidence.
I came up on this site and learned some interesting things. I knew “ides” stood for the 15th day of the month. But I didn’t know that was only true for March, May, July and October. The rest of the months, the ides falls on the 13th. And that opens up a whole 13 as an unlucky number bag that I’m not even going to get into today.
Anyhow. Just a little bit of trivia. Aren’t you entertained?

This is me. I'm a thirtysomething stay at home mom to three kids. For years I was a stay at home mom to one kid and trying very hard to have more. It took a LONG time (ie: 6 1/2 years), but finally Liam arrived and charmed us with his blue eyes and ginormous, round head. Then we got a shock: I was pregnant again and this time it was a GIRL. Our hearts and home are full at last and now that we're done having babies, we get to relax (snort) and watch them grow (not too fast now, you hear?).
