A lot going on in last night’s episode of Lost. First off, let me just say I was SO glad it was a new episode. That filled me with all sorts of happy thoughts. :) All new eps until the finale. Which, list Amazing Race, I’m a little concerned about. Wednesday’s just won’t be the same this summer.
Anywho, onto the show. Here are my observations:
- How CUTE was it that only the sound of Sawyer’s voice could calm Claire’s new baby? I was totally cracking up while Charlie was following Sawyer around with the baby while he talked, so the baby would finally be quiet. Too funny. And just adorable. Sawyer is one of those characters that you like more the more you watch the show. Jack…you like less. Funny how that’s happened, isn’t it?
- Speaking of Jack… I’m a little tired of the righteous rage. What did pouncing on Locke at the funeral and accusing him of lying accomplish other than to get a bee in Shannon’s homicidal bonnet? There was a phrase uttered more than once in our house last night. It was: “Shut UP, Jack!”
- Sayid… man, no wonder he’s so messed up. Okay, he’s probably less messed up than some of his companions on Lost island, but STILL. Having a good friend kill themself because you betrayed them? OUCH. And the fact that Sayid stayed behind in Austrailia an extra day so he could give his friend a proper Muslim burial and that’s why he ended up on the doomed flight… wow, that’s some good stuff right there. That’s fate and judgement and redemption all wrapped up in a nice bow. Niiiice.
- And Shannon, dear… if you were gonna be that put out about Boone dying, don’t you think you could have been a little nicer to him while he was alive? Just sayin’.
- I still love Locke. I know, I know. He’s an unknown. But I was so glad to see that bullet only grazed his temple, you don’t even know. And I loved how he tried to put Sayid off when he asked about the hatch. Hehe!! So it looks like in the next episode he’s going to finally share his hatch. And what’s with Walt freaking out and telling him not to open it! Creepy. Maybe he read about it in his comic book

This is me. I'm a thirtysomething stay at home mom to three kids. For years I was a stay at home mom to one kid and trying very hard to have more. It took a LONG time (ie: 6 1/2 years), but finally Liam arrived and charmed us with his blue eyes and ginormous, round head. Then we got a shock: I was pregnant again and this time it was a GIRL. Our hearts and home are full at last and now that we're done having babies, we get to relax (snort) and watch them grow (not too fast now, you hear?).
