If I were a rich girl…

by Marilyn on May 10, 2005

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! See, I’d have all the money in the world, if I was a wealthy girl…

Ahem. I’m sorry, once I get going I often can’t stop. :blush And that is a rather bitchin’ song. ;)

Anyhow, my point is: I?ve been tagged by Fuzzy. Shame on me for reading her blog today. :lol I could just pretend I didn’t catch this post…but I consider myself an ethical sort so here goes. What happens is I pick 5 sentence fragments from this list and complete the sentence in whichever way seems fit to me. And since you’ve read this, now you have to do it too! Neener neener! :lol

If I could be a scientist . . .
If I could be a farmer . . .
If I could be a musician . . .
If I could be a doctor . . .
If I could be a painter . . .
If I could be a gardener . . .
If I could be a missionary . . .
If I could be a chef . . .
If I could be an architect . . .
If I could be a linguist . . .
If I could be a psychologist . . .
If I could be a librarian . . .
If I could be an athlete . . .
If I could be a lawyer . . .
If I could be an inn-keeper . . .
If I could be a professor . . .
If I could be a writer . . .
If I could be a llama-rider . . .
If I could be a bonnie pirate . . .
If I could be an astronaut . . .
If I could be a world famous blogger . . .
If I could be a justice on any one court in the world . . .
If I could be married to any current famous political figure . . .

So here goes.

  1. If I could be a world famous blogger . . . I would revel in my famous-ness and use it to perpetuate my influence upon the world. Honestly, I think it’d be totally awesome to have TONS of people reading my blog. I would have such fun with it. :)
  2. If I could be a writer . . . I would write amazingly fabulous women’s fiction novels that women everywhere would clamor for and every beach tote would have one of my book in the front pocket. I’d be friggin’ Nora Roberts, yo! Damn, that’d rock. Nora is my queen.
  3. If I could be an inn-keeper . . . K and I would have the cutest little B&B you’d ever seen…in, like, New England or something. Probably Maine or on Cape Cod. K would fix awesome breakfasts and we’d have a cat who would like to greet (non-allergic) guests. And I’d have a kickin’ garden too, full of lilacs and roses. Fabulous!
  4. If I could be a librarian . . . I would consider myself well-suited to the job. As long as I didn’t have to talk to many people, that is. I could work with books all day long in a comfy, quiet place….*happy sigh*. I’ve always wanted to work with books, either writing them or selling them or lending them. I imagine it would be very calming.
  5. If I could be an architect . . . I’d build us the most awesome house you’d ever seen, complete with bay windows, fireplaces near the bathtub (K has always wanted this), in-ground hot tub, gourmet kitchen and enough bedrooms to sleep a small army. Think Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. I’m talking obscene. Fantastic. :)
