I won’t be going for my ultrasound tomorrow. This was always a sort of “up in the air” deal. And we just had to make a judgement call today. They were going to allow us to come in and have it done without paying the balance we owe them (which, we just plain don’t have right now). But we’d still have the copay to deal with. And being a specialist, its a rather steep copay. I have some cash from my design business, but I’d rather use that to help do some special things for K’s birthday on Friday and Father’s Day next weekend. That was my call.
Plus, I took into account that my appointment with my regular doctor is on Tuesday. That’s only a five day wait. I can manage that. If I were perhaps feeling a little more frantic for an ultrasound that’d be one thing. But I, strangely enough, don’t feel that frantic. Nervous, yes. But in that case, putting off an ultrasound may be a good thing. 
So no ultrasound with the RE’s office. I can live with that. Yeah, I was a little disappointed. After all, its just not in my nature to turn down a peek at my wee one. 
But I can take it. For five days. Pray for me!
