How far along am I?
8 weeks and four days. 6 weeks and four days gestational. However, if there was late implantation, those dates could be pushed back, as much as nearly a week. And my ultrasound yesterday would certainly reinforce that idea.
Signs and Symptoms
- Hunger - of course. Still. Though I will admit to losing my appetiete yesterday after my traumatic doctor’s appointment, the appetiete returned in full force and with reinforcements by 4 o’clock.
- Still have some soreness in the chestal regions. But that comes and goes. Sometimes, more coming than going.
- Peeing - I still blame all the water I’m drinking but there was a few days last weekend where I didn’t drink a whole lot of water and I still had to go pretty often, so I’m sticking to it.
- Definitely tight clothes. Oh yes. Maternity or really loose elastic band pants are about the only things comfortable right now.
- Tired tired tired. All the time with the tired. In fact, I think I’ll go take a nap when I’m done posting this.
How much have I gained?
Yeah, still not keeping track of how much I actually weight each week so I’m not entirely sure. But I think I may have gained either nothing or lost a pound which is EXCELLENT. Also, it would appear my scale is 10lbs off from the one at the dr’s office. Let’s hope that stays true when I see the new doctor.
Observations
- I got an appointment with a new OB/GYN! :woot This is fantastic news. Even the gal who does referrals at my doctor’s office was excited. Apparently her daughter in law goes to see this gal and she’s a high risk pregnancy too. She gets great care and they’re really good at taking care of us neurotic ones.
The appointment isn’t until July 6th, but I suppose that’s chicken feed in the grand scheme of things. Pretty soon for an appointment if you consider its less than a month away. Plus, this office is apparently very hard to get into, they only take a certain number of patients depending on due date. Yay! I’m so lucky.
Now let’s just hope I’m still pregnant come July 6th! :fc - Still with the walking every night. Well, not every night. I took last night off because I was having such trouble with my hip yesterday. It hurt so bad. In fact, I didn’t feel any soreness in my busted ankle because it was bugging me so much. This morning I woke up and the hip was fine and I could feel my sore ankle again. All’s back to normal. More walking tonight.
- Trying SO hard not to spaz about the dates on the ultrasound I got yesterday. And no more googling “late implantation” because apparently there’s a greater risk of miscarriage in those cases.
So anyone who has a late implantation success story, feel free to share.
- Totally un-pregnancy related, but H starts Kindergarten in A MONTH. I was all set for September, but its JULY. He goes for his testing on July 14 and the actual class date starts July 18. I’m so not ready! But excited at the same time. My little boy is growing up!!
That’s all folks. Let’s keep our fingers crossed, keep the prayers headed my direction and pray for peace for my poor insane mind. Amen!
