I’m still dealing with the knowledge that back to school is in a MONTH rather that in September like I’d expected. One month! I don’t know if I’m prepared for that yet. I’m so used to him being here with me all day. He’ll still be here in the morning, as his kindergarten class meets in the afternoon. But after lunch, I gotta go drop him off. And hello? Wah! :cry What am I going to do with 2 and a 1/2 hours completely to myself?

Who am I kidding, I’ll probably nap. K told me I just better not oversleep and not go pick the boy up or I’ll be in big trouble. Like I’d do that! :hand Okay, maybe I would. Perhaps an alarm clock would be in order.

I can schedule prenatal appointments in the afternoon and go while he’s at school. Which is a nice idea, except what if I’m late getting back? 2 1/2 hours isn’t *that* long a time.

How will my boy know where I’m going to pick him up after school? I’m guessing the rest of the school gets out at the same time and its liable to be a mob scene. Will he wait inside for me to fetch him? Or what if he’s waiting outside and some creep snatches him!

I’m so not ready for this. I’m not old enough to have a child going into school! This isn’t going to be easy. Hold me!
