How far along am I?
10 weeks and four days. 8 weeks and four days gestational. Definitely in the third month. Getting so close to the second trimester! Let’s :fc for a good appointment next week!
Signs and Symptoms
- Still Hungry, though a lot of times it depends on the day. Sunday I wasn’t very hungry all day long, but Saturday I was FAMISHED. It comes and it goes.
- SPOTTING. Ugh…I’m so hoping this is no big deal and doesn’t mean anything bad and that it’ll go away (soon!). At least its still brown and no cramps.
- Tender boobs. Still. Like the hunger thing, it comes and it goes, but pretty constant these days.
- Peeing. I haven’t been very good about drinking my water this week, but I still have to go fairly often and with quite a bit of urgency.
- Congestion. Some days are worse than others (of course) but its getting rather annoying on the worse days.
- Definite puffy tummy. But not very firm yet (yeah, like it could firm up with all that FAT there). I feel pretty puffy in general.
- Fatigue. I could sleep all day, sometimes. Wish I had more time for naps.
How much have I gained?
Looks like I’m 2 lbs back up again. Hard to tell with that stupid scale, since its so off already. But at least I don’t think I’ve really gained anything so far. Which is what is important. :)
Observations
- VERY nervous. The spotting doesn’t help. Daily prayers help. Both anticipating the appointment next Wednesday and dreading it. Wish I could believe we’d get GOOD news.
- Haven’t taken many walks this week, which is a shame because I believe they were really good for me. But not risking it with this spotting.
- Been taking breaks several times during the day to lay down and take it easy.
- So apparently my thyroid is at 2, which is a little higher than my regular doctor would like it but she wants me to talk to the new doctor about it first before changing my prescription.
- Don’t worry until there’s something to worry about. Don’t worry until there’s something to worry about. Don’t worry until there’s something to worry about. Rinse, repeat.
Join us next week for the “New Doctor Appointment Report” edition of the Weekly Progress Report. Until then, keep sending those prayers and good wishes my way!
