So yeah, while watching the local evening news I couldn’t help but notice a story about a Nevada clinic getting some national reknown. Then, I noticed the reporter was standing in front of a rather familiar building.
Yep, folks. That’s my RE.
Apparently, Child Magazine has run a feature recently on the 10 Best Fertility Centers in the nation. And MY RE ranks #6. Not that I can say I’m really surprised but this sure isn’t going to help them be any less stingy about getting their payments on time.
This study was based on the percentage of successful ART transfers in the year 2002 so it totally doesn’t apply to me. But it sorta underscores why they thought I’d be so darned easy to impregnate. They have some really good percentages, as well as being into the research side of things.
This makes me a little proud. Even though I was just a basic, boring Clomid patient who didn’t come to all her appointments, I have a sense of satisfaction knowing I have a good chance of having a baby by one of the best centers in the country. Wow… how many women can say that?
If you want to read about it or see some of the other centers listed in the top 10, here’s the link. And I can say one thing for them, Shannon the nurse was FANTASTIC.
