So when reflecting on my weekend I had a lot of little things to talk about but no BIG things that deserve their very own entry so I thought… “Time for another random-ness post!” This way, I can get out all that I’ve been bottling up since Friday and get a blog post out in the process! Let’s hear it for killing two birds with one stone.

Friday, I was feeling a bit down. I think it was mostly being overwhelmed and getting used to the new schedule of taking H to school and picking him up. My days seem a lot shorter now, don’t have as much time to fit in everything I need to do. That get’s so frustrating!
But that night I was feeling much better. We had our monster shopping trip that night. Once a month, when K gets paid, we venture out to the nearest Wal-mart Supercenter and stock up on groceries. Not all groceries for the month, that’d be impossible. But pretty close.
Needless to say, its quite a trip. I normally do this trip on my own, but with H in school, there was never a good chunk of time (and believe me, it TAKES a chunk of time) to do it. So we all went. We did pretty good, got out of there in two hours and saved $20 alone just using coupons.
Go us!

(dang, this is taking me forever to write. I started this like five hours ago!)
Saturday was soooo much fun. Well, mostly because I finally got the lead out and spent some money on me. That is SO hard to do! But I’d earned it. So we went by Motherhood Maternity and I saw the pink velour tracksuit of my dreams. I’ve been wanting one of those for ages now. And this one was perfect. Add to it a tshirt on sale and a bra and I was a happy girl. That’s the first time so far this pregnancy I’ve really spent any money on maternity clothes. Everything so far has been from last time or free. SAD!
I also stopped by Sephora. And before I could talk myself out of it (which I always do), I finally got the foundation brush I’d been keeping my eye on plus a tube of Lip Venom which I’d heard such good things about. Pricey, but I’ve been wanting to for so long. And it felt good to just finally do it.
Go me!

Big Brother 6 is a travesty. TRAVESTY. Maggie and Ivette are killing me here. Each moment I have to watch one of them smug around that house, a piece of me dies. I can’t stand their superior attitudes. I can’t believe they think they’re the only “good” side in that house. PUH. LEASE.
I can’t wait until one and/or both of them are booted out on their asses. And they will be. That’ll be a sweet, sweet night. In the meantime, I have to put up with their patting each other on the back and moaning about their poor, lost Cappie. *barf*

I’m going out town this weekend.
I know, it NEVER happens. In fact, the last time we went anywhere was CHRISTMAS and we all remember what that was like. I’m hoping for a more enjoyable trip but I’m not going to count on it. I know our track record.
I’m going to have a lap top around and my parents have a computer at their house so chances are I’ll be able to post. I hope I’ll be able to post. Maybe simply as a means to escape the family, I’ll go post.
And it’ll be a forced rest few days off of designing, which I think I’ve earned.
Our anniversary is on Monday. SEVEN years. I don’t know whether that seems like a long time or a short time, looking back. Makes me feel old, that’s for sure. We’re planning to go out to eat, catch a movie, have my parents watch H so we can do this without having to hear complaints regarding our choice of restaurant.
I have a great present planned for K, but I’m worried we won’t get it in time. Which is exactly what happened last year. :sigh
:heart:heart:heart:heart:heart:heart:heart:heart:heart:heart
So that’s the lives and times of me. Now I better crack the whip and get back to work before someone thinks I’m slacking off. ![]()
