So I’m going to start a new “thing” here on the blog. Since I can no longer do my weekly progress report 
I’m going to instead do a “Song of the Week”. Each week I’ll pick a different song. It will depend on my mood, of course. Sometimes, when I feel it is necessesary, the song will be hopeful in nature even if I’m not feeling hopeful myself. Just to inspire me. Or it may be a sadder song. Or it might be a happy, rejoicing song.
This week’s song is “Testify to Love” by Wynonna Judd. This is a very inspirational song, but it’s also a little sad for me. Wynonna is a lovely singer, and her joy really comes through in this song. Let’s hope her spirit rubs off on me this week. While listening to the song, feel free to reflect on the totally awesome picture I took yesterday of the sunset from our backyard. I remember the first time I heard that song - it was on the show “Touched by an Angel.” You’re right: its both very inspiring and a little sad at the same time.

i watched touched by an angel on 03/07/06 heard this song and it made me cry, so i searched the internet to find the words. then i came across your site and could listen to it as well - fantastic. i have now shared this song with our youth group at church and i play it every night before ging to bed, it is nice to end the day on a happy feeling. thankyou. Hi, thanks for posting up this encouraging song.
Noticed a little typo though…
Instead of every sinful act of mercy, I think it’s every simple act of mercy.
