Just call me the MeMe Queen!

Yes, another MeMe post. Shut up. It’s one of those weeks and if I didn’t have this bit of innocent, harmless fun to indulge in I just might go running into the street, screaming my fool head off.

I got tagged for this one by Garnet (go check her out and her super cool looking new blog ;) ),

The total number of books you own
This is a joke right? Becuase I’m not going to go count. Let’s suffice it to say that I have a LOT of them. I’ve given away a lot of books actually, but I keep all my Nora Roberts/JD Robb ones, as well as ones that were sentimental to me in my youth. At least 100, I know its actually a lot, lot more.

What was the last book you bought
Shoot. I know this one. It was Divine Evil by Nora Roberts. I think. I’m pretty sure. Yeah. That was it. :lol

What was the last book I read
Just finished Baker Towers by Jennifer Haigh and am nearly finished with True Betrayals by Nora Roberts. I’m just about ready to start a new one that I can’t recall the title of off the top of my head.

List 5 books which have been particularly meaningful to you

  1. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. I read this in 10th grade and loved it with the fire of a thousand suns. Oh the drama!
  2. Any H Potter book, actually, the whole series. It has really captured my imagination and my heart and I *live* for the next release.
  3. Ratha’s Creature by Clare Bell. I read this one in junior high and thought it was so imaginative and interesting. Still is.
  4. Remember Me by Christopher Pike. Another book from my youth, opened me up to the rest of his books, which I loved, and I am still fascinated with the story of the ghost avenging her wrongful death…
  5. The Stand by Stephen King. My favorite of all of his books (though there are some that are close) and the first of his I was able to actually finish. GREAT fable.

I’m not tagging people because I tagged people last time and I don’t want anything thrown at my head. :shifty

I love Nora Roberts/JD Robb - have you read “Remember when”? Its by both of them (sounds nutty, but it works :))

Horray! You did it! I love seeing what other people like to read!

You said you tagged me back but I don’t see where? Which one should I do? :)
