While this week’s picture has very little to do with this week’s song (when *has* a picture had anything to do with the song?), I still thought it was might cool. Today is the last day of the air show and we were treated to several flyovers, including one by a very frisky jet. I got some great pictures, but I decided to only share this one. Because this one rocked. These were a bunch of propeller style racers heading towards the “race track” at the far end of the valley. Reminded me of something out of World War I.
Anyhow, I *love* this week’s song. I don’t think I can use that word enough. L-O-V-E. Once upon a time, it made me think of a fabulous scene in the movie Empire Records. But ever since seeing The Dukes of Hazzard movie, it also makes me think of the entirely awesome chase through the streets of Atlanta. Let’s face it, the General Lee rocks my socks. Sadly enough, this song isn’t included on the soundtrack, which just further compounds my frustration with the whole movie. But the song itself really cooks and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

There ought to be a law
Criminal
There ought to be a whole lot more
You get nothing for nothing
Tell me who can you trust
We got what you want
And you got the lust
CHORUS:
If you want blood, you got it
If you want blood, you got it
Blood on the streets
Blood on the rocks
Blood in the gutter
Every last drop
You want blood, you got it
It’s animal
Livin’ in a human zoo
Animal
The shit that they toss to you
Feeling like a Christian
Locked in a cage
Thrown to the lions
On a second’s rage
CHORUS
Blood on the rocks
Blood on the streets
Blood in the sky
Blood on the sheets
If you want blood - you got it
(I want you to bleed for me)
If you want blood, you got it…
