Has anyone else been watching the truly wretched Amazing Race: Family Edition? If so, you know what I’m saying when I call it wretched. I wish they’d just end the damn thing already. It’s an embarassment to the Amazing Race franchise.
And the Weavers? Worst team EVER. And that’s saying a lot. You all remember how I felt about Jonathon and Victoria, so you understand this is saying quite a bit. They are just absolutely insufferable.
Has anyone seen the movie The Ref? It’s a classic christmas tale, starring Denis Leary and Kevin Spacey. Anyhow, the grandmother in that movie was a total head-case. And finally, after much provocation, Denis Leary’s character says to her, “Your husband ain’t dead lady. He’s hiding.”
I totally think that could be true in Mama Weaver’s case.

I’m with you on the Amazing Race. And I also hate the Weavers’ values and attitude. But it’s like a train wreck: can’t look away…

I missed it this week . . . but the Weaver’s have been driving me nuts for WEEKS. I cannot wait for the next, redeeming, season (or American Idol, which will make me feel better I am sure
)

Jeez, I like the Weavers. I’ve been rooting for them. They haven’t shown much as to the real reason why people don’t like them, and I’m very curious. I doubt they’ll win, but I’d like them to.
