I knew I was forgetting to do something today. :doh :lol I forgot to post about my beta results! While they didn’t necessesarily call *first* thing this morning, as they had promised, it was pretty close. I got the call at about 8:23am (don’t think I didn’t have to check the caller ID on that one). The number? She’s a beaut. 7,198.
Put into the handy dandy HCG level calculator, that means I’m doubling ever 41.1 hours and that my “daily rate” (whatever that is) is 1.5. Essentially? Right on target. The nurse sounded positively excited about this number, which of course encouraged me.
We set my ultrasound date for December 13 at 2:00pm. Which means that my sanity will be reverse proportionate to the number of hours between now and that appointment. I’ll have another ultrasound on the 22nd at 1:40. Again with the sanity. Won’t that be fun? To watch me go nuts, one day at a time? I bet you can’t wait.
The nurse said my due date was July 31. I won’t hold this against her. A) What’s a few days in the grand scheme of things? B) When the u/s dates are behind then maybe I won’t worry as much this time? and C) I never did tell them when I ovulated so this makes perfect sense.
So there she is. The numbers aren’t as fantastic as my pregnancy with Jackson (I don’t think any numbers COULD be that fantastic, they were just out of this world awesome), but LOADS better than they were with Shmear, so I feel pretty good, on the whole.

This is me. I'm a thirtysomething stay at home mom to three kids. For years I was a stay at home mom to one kid and trying very hard to have more. It took a LONG time (ie: 6 1/2 years), but finally Liam arrived and charmed us with his blue eyes and ginormous, round head. Then we got a shock: I was pregnant again and this time it was a GIRL. Our hearts and home are full at last and now that we're done having babies, we get to relax (snort) and watch them grow (not too fast now, you hear?).
