So the hubub is dying around these parts from The Great Heartbeat Fest of 2005. Good times were had by all and much gazing upon the ultrasound photos with misty eyes was had.
:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool
So the Golden Globe noms came out yesterday. Big freakin’ deal, like anyone really watches those. We just watch the results so we know who’s getting nominated for the Oscars. And half the movies for nominated I’ve never even HEARD of so I can tell it’s gonna be a fabulous awards season already.
I do want to say, BRAVO to Pride and Prejudice and Keira Knightly. I hope they both win. That movie ROCKED.
:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool
The Amazing Race: Torture Edition had it’s “finale” last night. And praise God, the Weavers came in LAST. The whole show really just stunk. Having the teams of four, and have them be family members? Bleh. I mean, it had potential but really. The whole thing was just dumbed down to a point where I could actually slip into unconsciousness during the roadblocks and detours. Seriously. Hear that CBS? Don’t ever do another Family Edition again. EVER.
But I’m glad the Linz’s won. I liked them from the get go and that girl DESERVES a million bucks just for putting up with her silly brothers for that long. And the Bransen’s rocked too. I wouldn’t have minded if they had won, but I’m glad they came in second. And the Weavers coming in third? Priceless.
That was almost worth the price of watching the whole damn season right there. And what was with them calling the Linz’s “GI Joes”? I didn’t get that. Why did they have to have retarded names for all the teams anyhow? Ugh. SO glad they lost. Now I never have to see/hear/etc them again.
I may just throw a party.

I feel I have to risk the wrath of all you out there in Blogland and brag that I got those packages that are getting shipped out sent today. I am officially DONE. There’s a couple wrapping jobs to be had for the close fam, but for all practical intents and purposes? I’m FINISHED. Christmas shopping is DONE.
I will say this though: I think H is a little spoiled. He may just pass out from sheer joy come Christmas morning. And I just don’t know if I can tolerate that.
:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool:cool
The promised list of “Bad Christmas Songs” is coming. Never you fear. I just need to find a decent chunk of time to compose it in. And this week? Has been NUTS. I’m hoping for a calmer day tomorrow. Won’t you hope with me?
And thanks for all the bithday wishes and congratulations on the :heart and all that. You guys are the best. Sometimes I forget people actually read this thing and I’m always so happy to see there are people out there who are paying attention. Yay me!
And yay you too!

I don’t come here for 4 days and so much went on! First of all, happy belated birthday!
So glad you had such a nice time last weekend. Second, yay, yay and re-yay! for the heartbeat!
And last but not least, I’m so happy too the Weavers didn’t win. Esp. after giving up in the Stade Olympique. I was so proud they came to Montreal, even if we don’t play curling or lumberjack here!
