In true Reno tradition, we’ve been struck with freakish weather at the New Year.? And of course, this has caused many some rain related issues throughout town.? Luckily, we escaped any excitement out at our house… though we had to drive through a good piece of flooded road to get to the grocery store to purchase me some sparkling cider for tonight.? (Cuz, you know, that was important)
The weather is pretty clear now, and should be clear the next day, probably.? Then they’re talking about another storm.? We’ll see.? In the meantime, I rest easy with the knowledge that if temperatures had been cooler (as they would normally be), we would have had snow on par with what we had last year.??? I’m not sure what’s worse; four feet of snow or devastating flooding.? It’s a toss up.
