K and I have been watching one of our Christmas presents, Season 1 (I don’t think there were any other seasons, were there?) of Firefly on DVD. We’re about 8 episodes in, counting the 2 hour pilot/movie that actually didn’t show until after the first episode for some reason. We’re *loving* it.
It makes me miss Buffy the Vampire Slayer even more. That was one of the best shows ever and I miss it every Tuesday night.? I wish Joss Whedon had a show that hit the big time, that was a smashing sucess and stayed on the air for 10 or more seasons.? That would be television heaven.
In the meantime, we have these Firefly episodes to watch, and when we finish it, we’re going to get Serenity and watch that too.? I heartily recommend this show to anyone who is looking for something new to watch and really appreciates quality tv shows.

This is me. I'm a thirtysomething stay at home mom to three kids. For years I was a stay at home mom to one kid and trying very hard to have more. It took a LONG time (ie: 6 1/2 years), but finally Liam arrived and charmed us with his blue eyes and ginormous, round head. Then we got a shock: I was pregnant again and this time it was a GIRL. Our hearts and home are full at last and now that we're done having babies, we get to relax (snort) and watch them grow (not too fast now, you hear?).
