So by this time next week, we’ll know if everything is a go or not.? And, by this time next week chances are good I’ve been able to spill the beans to my parents.? I’m nervous… but I feel pretty optimistic (I say that EVERY time, don’t I?).? For instance, I still get heartburn when I eat the most innocuous things.? That’s got to be a good sign, right?? Also, the hunger/nausea thing.? Symptoms are a good thing.? A very good thing.? So is the “pooch” that is making it’s appearance known more and more each day.? K even mentioned the other day that I’ve been looking more and more pregnant lately.? I think he’s just trying to make me feel better.? I think I’m just plain fat, and the “pooch” won’t be showing for another 6-8 weeks at least.
I keep trying to envision the appointment.? But then I start picturing the last ultrasound we had there, we we found out the baby was kaput.? And that doesn’t really help, you know?? Plus, my son will be there and I’m *really* nervous about that.? What if something is wrong?? There’s no way around it.? No babysitters around here, no family, no friends.? We’re going to even have to keep him out of school that day because of the way the appointment is setup, we won’t have a chance to get him to school or picked up.
Keep your fingers crossed for me.? I need it.
