DH could have written that nearly word for word. He won't call anyone - even his own mother - unless the stars align. I am the designated "phone caller" and "phone answerer." So I really do get it . . . I am also bad at returning phone calls. It's the commitment of engaging in a lengthy conversation when sometimes I'd prefer a brief email exchange. Especially with vendors / colleagues at work. With email, I can get to you when I feel like it, once I've given thought to my reply - I don't feel so "on the spot" KWIM?
