Let’s hear it for the WEEKEND!? And believe you me, it couldn’t have come fast enough.? Imagine if it had been a full week instead of only four days (three and a half if you account my appointments on Tuesday).? Part of the problem is: I woke up this morning with the beginnings of a cold.? You know how it is, the nagging sore throat, the persistant dry cough, the stuffy nose…? soon to be followed by weariness and shivery-ness.? Bleh.? I don’t enjoy these things under any circumstance, but when pregnant?? A cold SUCKS.? I can’t dope myself up with Nyquil at night and pass out.? I can only hope this wretched thing passes as soon as possible.? Maybe even sooner than that, if I can manage.
Tomorrow, we’re going to a monster truck rally.? It’s official: we’re white trash.? But regardless, it should be fun.? I mean, come on!? Grave Digger is going to be there! :lol H, of course, is beside himself with excitement over this and has been spending the evening driving us INSANE.? Yeah, it’s an early bedtime night.? He is just WAY too excited.? Excited and unmedicated colds do not mix well.
Thirteen weeks. That has to be a good sign, right?? Of course, I thought I was thirteen weeks before, didn’t I? That didn’t pan out too well.? Of course, the difference is the fantastic ultrasound I had on Tuesday.? And, just today, I put in an order to rent a fetal doppler.? It should be here Tuesday evening.? And that will help me with the peace of mind thing in between appointments, I hope.
