Yes, I know it’s SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY! But I didn’t get a chance to upload these on Saturday. And I almost didn’t have time to today… It’s a long story, which I’ll elaborate on (complete with pictures!) tomorrow. But here they are, better late than never. Pictures! Of monster trucks and other such things! Anyhow, that there is GRAVE DIGGER! And can I just say? Grave Digger is pretty freaking cool. H *loved* how it’d do this spins in the center of the arena, spitting dirt every which way and making the most horrible racket you could imagine. :lol
Then, between races (cuz this Monster Jam was essentially a race), they’d bring out these teeny, tiny little sprint car/go carts. Kids drove these, from about 10-15 or so I believe. And they had to be pushed by four-wheelers to get a good enough head of steam to get racing. And these kids? Could RACE. Holy cow! K said it was some of the best racing he’d ever seen. And it was also possibly the cutest thing I’d ever seen in my LIFE.
Also totally cool? The one female monster truck driver there. Don’t ask me to remember her name (cuz I don’t), but she was SO cool. She won the wheelie competition, which they told us was a first, like EVER. Plus, she held her own with the guys which was tough to do because these guys were GOOD. Hell, made me want to climb into the cab of one of those things and learn how to drive like the rest. 
All in all?? A *great* time.? And so fun to go as a family.? H and K both had a blast beyond all blasts.? I didn’t get any pics of the quad competition (H did on his camera, we’ll see how well those turned out…), but that was also supremely cool. ? I can totally recommend going to one of these things, even though it makes me totally look like a redneck.
Oh, but if you go?? Bring earplugs.? TRUST me.
