So some of you intrepid readers may have noticed that I have a “Rent My Blog” feature over in the sidebar. I’ve been in this program for a couple weeks and not only is it a great way to get traffic and learn about new blogs, but it’s fun too.? Creating offers and bidding on other blogs is actually a hoot and a half, so I suggest anyone with a blog who’d like to get a little extra traffic check it out!
In the meantime, I have a new renter!? It’s a great site called Cherry Sass (which, GREAT name for a site, right?) and she’s got some great stuff over there.? I heartily recommend you get clicking on the thumbnail under “Tenant” and head on over there.? I picked well; you won’t regret it.

So, as you may have noticed, I have a new design up on my site!? This is based off the “Regulus” theme by Binary Moon, a completely awesome theme if you ask me.? It’s sort of “alcoholic” in nature, which is a little off base right now considering I can’t drink.? But I do love myself a martini and especially the appletini variety so this was PERFECT.
The biggest bonus here being that this site (at least to me) looks great in both Firefox and IE, whereas my old theme was starting to “deteriorate” in IE.? Even in Firefox, if the truth is to be told.? Plus, I was bored with it.
My favorite thing about this new design?? The fancy post titles.? Yes, I could have done that to my old theme, but I didn’t want to introduce too many new elements on an old design.? And these fancy titles make my mundane and sophomoric posts look that much more urbane and sophisticated.? Don’t they?? Or is that just me?
Anyhow, I’ll probably be fiddling with it a bit over the days to come, adding things, changing things, etc and so forth.? Because I’m a fiddler at heart.? And I’m truly not used to making my own design anymore, so it’s sort of freeing to work on my own site for a change.? It’s kind of fun.
Anyhow, I hope you like it, as much as I do.? Let me know if anyone has any troubles with it or anything. Let’s hear it for a new look!
