So, as you may have noticed, I have a new design up on my site!? This is based off the “Regulus” theme by Binary Moon, a completely awesome theme if you ask me.? It’s sort of “alcoholic” in nature, which is a little off base right now considering I can’t drink.? But I do love myself a martini and especially the appletini variety so this was PERFECT.
The biggest bonus here being that this site (at least to me) looks great in both Firefox and IE, whereas my old theme was starting to “deteriorate” in IE.? Even in Firefox, if the truth is to be told.? Plus, I was bored with it. :)
My favorite thing about this new design?? The fancy post titles.? Yes, I could have done that to my old theme, but I didn’t want to introduce too many new elements on an old design.? And these fancy titles make my mundane and sophomoric posts look that much more urbane and sophisticated.? Don’t they?? Or is that just me?
Anyhow, I’ll probably be fiddling with it a bit over the days to come, adding things, changing things, etc and so forth.? Because I’m a fiddler at heart.? And I’m truly not used to making my own design anymore, so it’s sort of freeing to work on my own site for a change.? It’s kind of fun. :)
Anyhow, I hope you like it, as much as I do.? Let me know if anyone has any troubles with it or anything. Let’s hear it for a new look!
This is me. I'm a thirtysomething stay at home mom to three kids. For years I was a stay at home mom to one kid and trying very hard to have more. It took a LONG time (ie: 6 1/2 years), but finally Liam arrived and charmed us with his blue eyes and ginormous, round head. Then we got a shock: I was pregnant again and this time it was a GIRL. Our hearts and home are full at last and now that we're done having babies, we get to relax (snort) and watch them grow (not too fast now, you hear?).
