Yeah, I have a gas bubble.? At least, that’s what it feels like.? A bubble of gas stuck somewhere in my abdomen, pressing against all around it and generally making my life difficult. Sitting up?? Hurts.? Standing up?? Hurts.? Walking around? Hurts.? Laying down?? Hurts.? And me without any Gas-X or anything that I would normally do/take at home to fix the situation.

And tonight was the bachelorette party (my sister in law is getting married on Saturday).? Tame, but then this isn’t a first wedding for her and we did what she wanted.? Which was dinner at a very decent Mexican restaurant (I had the chalupa and could barely manage to eat 1/3 of it, THANKS gas bubble) and a movie afterward.? We saw “The Pink Panther” which was cute, but not really anything to write home about (then just what am *I* doing??).? But my sister in law had a great time, as did her daughter, her mother and her friend so that’s worth it.? Interestingly enough, I paid more to see that than anyone else there. :lol? I paid for the movie first, and my mother-in-law second (she got a senior discount).? Then the cashier saw my niece who WORKS at the theater and said that everyone with her could get in free.? Course, we’d already gone in because it was bitch ass cold outside.? Cute, huh?? Ah well.? Of course, we are BROKE, so it’s rather on the ironic side.? Go figure.
Anyhow, my point is, the gas bubble hasn’t helped this evening.? I had to find a way to sit in the theater seat in a way as to reduce discomfort.? Which involved sliding down in my seat so far that my buns were hanging off the edge of the seat.? So now?? My back hurts.? And the bubble?? Still there.? Pain?? Still there.? Considering the quality of sleep I got last night (or lake thereof), I should be in for another fantastic night again tonight.
Yeah, time to go crash.

This is me. I'm a thirtysomething stay at home mom to three kids. For years I was a stay at home mom to one kid and trying very hard to have more. It took a LONG time (ie: 6 1/2 years), but finally Liam arrived and charmed us with his blue eyes and ginormous, round head. Then we got a shock: I was pregnant again and this time it was a GIRL. Our hearts and home are full at last and now that we're done having babies, we get to relax (snort) and watch them grow (not too fast now, you hear?).
