So today’s post is so late because… because… Well… I was busy (sorta) this morning. I have a lot to do, and I got some things done. And I was totally planning to post something after lunch. Except, you know what happened? My network took a crap. It’s been acting a little wonky the last week or so…especially the last day or so. And when it “flickered” today, it just never came back on. Sorta like when you’re SO tired and trying to watch a DVD or something. And you keep closing your eyes and opening them again. And then eventually you close them and they just stay closed? I know you know what I’m talking about. Anyhow, it was like that. So in lieu of anything pithy I might have posted, you’re getting another random list.

• I forgot to mention “The Amazing Race” yesterday. Can I just say how glad I am to be back to the good old fashioned “Race” and not some sort of bastardized family version. And the teams seem just as dysfunctional ever. Loving: the Hippies (I keep wanting to call them BJ and the Bear), the Puerto Rican mother and daughter, and the adorable couple, not the scary “MoJo” couple. Hating (already): Lake and Michelle (I loved how whatsisname called him “Scott Peterson”. HA!), the gay guys (so recycled! plus they argued ALL. THE. TIME.), and the pink girls (TOO pink and OMG, annoying). I wasn’t too fond of the “Frosties” either because WAY too much screaming. Lots of potential this season though, which I LOVE.
• While we’re on the subject of television, last night’s “Lost” nearly killed me. Finally it felt like we were getting somewhere story wise. And did anyone else notice that (for perhaps the first time ever) there wasn’t any flashbacks? I mean, there WERE, but they weren’t of “pre-island” days as has been the norm. And hurray for finding out where Claire was doing for two whole weeks last season. Answers? Notsomuch. The Others play dressup? Ethan was a doctor? Mr. Eko nearly gave me a coronary thinking he was going to slit his throat and all he did was cut off his chin pubes? What the heck did that mean? WHY did Locke buy into NotAnOther’s deliberate baiting? OH so good though. I felt as bad for Danielle last night as I ever have. And yes, that was totally her daughter. Like there was a question.
• Sick *may* be leaving the building. I don’t want to say too much for fear of tempting the fates. But this may be a peace offering from March. I remain optimistic.
• Still loving the Slice “One” Grape. Come to find out? Exclusive to Wal-Mart. Doesn’t that just figure? Now I’m all scared it won’t sell well or that this is a limited time deal anyhow and eventually I’m going to be cut off. I would be VERY sad. And I don’t know if Diet Rite would take me back after the mean things I said about it.
• As of tomorrow? I’m 19 weeks. :eek SERIOUSLY. Heartbeat strong as ever and have noticed even more rounding out of the belly. Definitely getting hard and defined. And last night? I could swear I felt a tap-tap when sitting in my recliner. First time I’ve felt anything where I haven’t been laying down. :woot
• Why is there nothing decent to watch on TV on Thursday nights anymore? Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays have me totally spoiled.
• I very nearly forgot to point out my newest renter! I’ve rented to this fabulous gal before and she was so nice to bid on my blog AGAIN. :)? Besides having a really nifty looking website (which you know I totally love pretty blogs), she’s got some great content.? She sells stuff too, so you should definitely check that out because I’m all for women who try to promote themselves. :)? So this is a win/win situation here.?
