Gas Bubble Redux

So yeah, I’m a gassy gasserton again today.? I’m sure you really wanted to know that.? But seriously, it’s made my life this afternoon difficult.? I’d planned a trip to Barnes and Nobel to hunt down a baby name book (boy names are STUMPING us) and maybe some old-fashioned fun browsing around Baby’s R Us (mostly to check if they have my favorite diaper bag). Alas, it was not meant to be. I felt pretty uncomfortable last night too, but my tummy was more sore than anything.? Plus, I was a BAD GIRL and had some coffee YESTERDAY MORNING.? Of course, this kept me up until nearly 1 am.? NEVER. AGAIN.

This morning, I still had the sore tummy.? But my big complaint during church was feeling dizzy on my feet.? I’d stand up to sing or whatever and have to sit back down after a few minutes.? Bleh.? Of course, it wasn’t until we were leaving that I realized I was STARVING so that’s probably why.? We had lunch at Macaroni Grill (becuase I won the Oscar bet and that was my pick) and of course it was fabulous as ALWAYS.? But then, I had the Penne Rustico which never fails to please. Of course, I ended up brining home 2/3 of it to eat for lunch tomorrow.? I may have been famished but my stomach is shrinking at an alarming rate here.

Then?? To the mall.? K had decided I needed maternity jeans.? He decided this after watching me put on my jeans this morning.? The jeans that were snug but okay last week are decidedly snugger and LESS comfy this week.? I guess making it to 20 weeks in my normal jeans is a good thing.? I wish I could credit that with any other reason than that I have a thing about buying my clothes several sizes too big.? Yeah.? BIG DORK.

I finally found some jeans that worked.? I really wanted the low rise, bellow-the-belly, fashion jeans but they were just a BIT too snug.? But full panel (SO comfy) and long enough length to cover the entirety of my long-ass legs was good enough for me.? Though someone needs to explain to me HOW these places can reasonably charge as much for maternity clothes as they do. Cuz it’s just WRONG.

Now?? It’s snowing and “The Sweetest Thing” (SO funny) is on Comedy Central so I’m pretty pleased with life.
