Okay, apparently there’s a sort of meme going around where one has to list six weird things.? Amalah did it, and now because I’m a hopeless copycat and always want to fit in with the cool kids, I’m going to do it too.? Even though no one really tagged me to do it.? I’m a loser like that. :)

1. When I was in high school, I didn’t want to have kids when I got older.? I’ve never been a big babysitter (see all my posts bitching about H’s sleepover for proof on that) and kids always sort of intimidated me.? I just didn’t have the urge.? Now, what’s weird is not only was I the first of all my friends to HAVE kid(s), but that I am now infertile. ? Wait, that might not be weird.? That might just be ironic.? Or cruel.? Anyhow.? I got the urge while in college watching, of all things, “Nine Months”.? Now THAT is weird.
2. I can make taco tongue.? I think I’m the only one in the family that can do this, but H is showing potential so does this mean he has my tongue?? It sorta freaks K out.? And, yes, I can roll my R’s too. I’m special.
3. Our Christmas nativity set? Is still sitting on top of our entertainment center.? Along with a snowman/moose sculpture that someone (I can’t remember who) gave us.? Oh, and a wreath is hanging up on the wall over the entertainment center.? These are the last Christmas decorations to take down.? Though, taking them down might not help because there’s a box of decorations currently still sitting near our front door.? The cats are slowly dismanteling one corner of it.? Any bets on when any of this stuff will be put away??
4. I never answer the phone.? Unless I can see the caller ID and I can tell it’s someone I know (and want to talk to).? And I never call anyone other than my parents.? And the random doctors office to bitch about my thyroid prescription.? The phone and me aren’t real good friends.? Me and email?? Fantastic buddies.
5. I have a hard time spending more than $40 at a time on myself.? This goes for clothes, shoes, purses, hairdos/haircuts, etc and so forth.? I start to get the shakes.? I literally have to force myself go see a hairdresser every eight weeks, even though I love going and love getting pampered.
6. I like staying in the hospital.? I found this out after H was born and I was in for four days after my c-section.? I loved having someone to tend to me all the time and even though the food was questionable, at least I didn’t have to make it.? Of course, this only applies if you can get a private room. ;)

Yeah, it’s pretty hard to think of six weird things.? Which is weird in itself, I guess.? Maybe I’m just having a weirdness block or something.? I’m supposed to tag six people but I figure if you’re reading this and want to do it, go right ahead and knock your socks off.? So for some reason, I can’t read Miss Zoot’s site today. And if you know me, you know that’s tantamount to a natural disaster.? It’s like the internet has made all these judgement calls.? Miss Zoot and MrZ can both see her site, K can see her site.? I?? Cannot.? Let the weeping commence.

Now, I don’t normally use Bloglines.? I have an account there because it seemed like the thing to do at the time.? But I have feeds of the sites I like listed in MyYahoo and on my Google homepage so I can see if something has been updated and go to their site to read it from there.? Problem solved. :)? Except today of course.? Thank goodness Bloglines has been allowed to see Miss Zoot’s site or I would have missed all about her search for a new pediatrician (which reminded me why I hate our current family practitioner and prompted me to make a note in my pregnancy organizer to ask my doctor tomorrow for a pediatrician referral).? This is important stuff, people!!
