Is it “quick randomness” or “random quickness”? I think the latter sounds better, don’t you?

I’m in agony. A. GO. NEE. I miss my laptop. You have no idea how much I MISS MY LAPTOP. Mere mortals weren’t meant to suffer like this.
The good news is: Dell FINALLY responded to the service request. And, as of about 2:30 this afternoon, have said they will overnight us a replacement power cord. Wee!! Now, since it’s the weekend, I don’t expect anything until Monday at the earliest. But the point is, I’ll have something and sooner than in a couple of weeks which is a very, very good thing.
The bad news is: it’s gonna take another day or two to get it. WAH! Yeah, I’m not one for patience. And I’m sorta a spoiled brat. I mean, besides our laptop, we have two other perfectly fine, working computers in this house. TWO. But since neither of them are laptops they don’t do me ANY GOOD.

In other news, Liam is a precious, precious baby. You may think you already knew that, but even so, I’m telling you again. I could easily grow old just staring at him while he sleeps. And while he’s awake, come to think of it. He’s getting SO close to laughing. He’s deeply amused by both his mobile in the pack n play and the ceiling fans in our bedroom and living room. He’s just a genial sort of fella. Even when he’s getting tired and cranky and just plain DONE WITH SHOPPING ALREADY (geez!), he’ll still smile at us if we make goofy faces at him. And right now? He’s wearing pants and I think it looks just adorable.
I’d share pictures with ya’ll but I can’t. They’re on the laptop. (seethe, piss, moan, gripe)

My house is a disaster. Do you think that means I’m putting serious thought into cleaning it? It SHOULD, but it’s not. The entire second floor is threatening to eat itself in protest. And we just won’t even speak of the dishes, okay?

I love weekends. Love, love, love.

We’ve sorta regressed from the co-sleeper somewhat. Liam has spent the majority of the last week sleeping in bed with us. But the upshot of this is that he’s eating less in the night. Last night it was 2-4 ounces (hey, it was the middle of the night, that’s as accurate a guess as I can give you). He wakes up a lot, shifting and grunting, and I pat his belly until he dozes off. But I like to think we’re working on the whole “Let’s see how much of the night we can spend sleeping” aspect. Then we’ll be ripe for moving him to his room and crib. What do you think? Wishful thinking?

Well, I’m off to rejoin the warm, bosom of my family and engage in a rousing game of “Scene it”. Fun abounds, people! Catch ya all later (hopefully from my newly restored laptop!!)
