Alone, at last

The in-laws have left the building. They had to hang around longer than they expected. Apparently they needed to pick up our nephew in Truckee who was coming back from a scouts trip. He called early this afternoon to say that he didn’t expect to get to Truckee until about 6:30. Of course, Elko (where they all live) is a good 4 to 5 hours away from Reno. So basically they’re looking at being out on the road until very, very late tonight. I, for one, don’t envy them one bit. And it certainly put a damper on their moods this afternoon, understandably.

But before that they treated us to a fabulous lunch at Mimi’s. I’m just a sucker for those triple berry stuffed french toasts. Very much appreciated, from this end.

So now that our home is emptier, I can focus better on my project at hand. I have big plans for my Lilac Pixels website, but it’s been hard to put those plans into motion with company here. But now, hopefully, I can concentrate on that and get something done. I want it taken care of before Turkey Day which is this week, apparently. Why didn’t someone tell me about that??
