We took our tree down today. I know, it’s not even February yet. I’m so impressed with us. The box that contains the tree is already out in the garage. The boxes that contain the ornaments and nativity… are not. But they shall soon follow because last year I think it was approaching summer before the boxes left the living room and I don’t look to repeat that again this year. Having the tree down, stockings packed away, all various and sundry snowmen decor removed from the premises does help quite a bit. We both have vowed that next year, we will enjoy Christmas more. We’ll get more into the spirit, enjoy the decorating and be generally excited for Christmas; whereas this year we were not.

In the meantime, enjoy the snapshot I took of one of my favorite ornaments while I was packing them all away. I’m rather proud of it.? The shot, not the ornament.? Heh.
