I’m back home! I might have posted that sooner except that I was totally enjoying sitting in my recliner. I’d kinda forgotten what it felt like in the past three or so days. I didn’t know I had missed it that much, but apparently, I had. We rented “Babel” as soon as we hit town, so we were watching that too. It came out on DVD today, in case you weren’t aware. And it was good. Kinda disturbing, strange, sad and creepy… but good. We both still like “The Queen” the best so far, but I think we’re watching “Little Miss Sunshine” tomorrow and I expect we’re going to enjoy that one.
We’re trying Liam in his crib tonight. In his room. Uh, yeah. So far, it’s going about as well as you’d expect. I don’t have high hopes for the rest of the night, but we’ll see. I just don’t really feel up to making repeat trips into the next room all night long. As it was, I was up many, many times last night and that was with him in the same bed. So I’m already going into this exhausted. Because, apparently, I haven’t honed the talent for rolling over and snoring when the baby cries quite like my darling husband has. Gotta work on that.
So yeah, right now the baby is crying… again. What is this, the fifth time? I’ve lost count. I’m pumping so I am relieved of duty for the moment. For the moment. As for sleeping in the nursery? I won’t hold my breath.
