I normally save my randomness posts for Fridays but seeing as I have other fish to fry tomorrow, I’ll do it all a day early. If you don’t mind.
- “Lost” was insanely good on Wednesday. See, if they stop focusing on Jack, that show has real promise. And we finally got to see how Locke ended up in the wheelchair. Even though I sorta saw it coming, I was still sitting there with my mouth hanging open when it happened. And the whole “magic box” thing is just wild. I wonder if Locke’s dad got there because The Others went and got him, though. Because they want to recruit Locke. I dunno. All I know is that was one fine episode. Jack was plenty pissed and anything that pisses Jack off makes me happy.
- We’re slowly getting better around here. Though, as you’d about be able to predict, I’m starting to come down with it. So far, it seems pretty mild and I’m sure as heck hoping it stays that way.
- Our front door is red now. Well, more like a burgundy color, but still. It looks awesome. I’m going to have to take a picture and post it. Kile’s thinking he needs to paint the shutters to match now. Sure, honey, you get right on that.
- I’m in the death grips of March and I’m feeling fine. This is unusual. Nice, but unusual.
- “American Idol”, on the other hand, totally has me in its death grip. What the heck is UP with Sanjaya still being in the competition? I may have to hurt someone. That kid made my ears bleed on Tuesday, and I don’t forgive that easily.
- We have Liam sleeping in his room now. Not in the crib, mind you, but at last he’s out of our bed, right? We have him on the double bed in his room, surrounded by pillows. I know it’s not a permanent fix, and I have a plan for moving him into the crib. I’ve just been waiting for him to get over his cold before I try it. He’s doing great in his room though. Kile and I are switching off nights, tending to him. And the last several nights we’ve only had to get up once. Of course, this is due in large part because we go in there to feed him and then promptly fall asleep for an hour or two before returning to our room. But whatever. It’s working, that’s all I care about.
Alright, if you don’t mind I’m gonna continue vegging out in front of the tv here until it’s time to collapse in bed in an exhausted heap.
