I literally do not know what to write about today. I’ve been amazed that with blogging, I so rarely suffer from writer’s block. There’s always something to talk about, after all. But today, no topic is standing out for me. I considered writing about how cute Liam is. But I’m sure that’s been done here many times before and I doubt any of you could care less about just HOW cute he is (answer: REAL cute). And that is hardly a groundbreaking, earthshattering post.
I could have also talked about what my husband and I did for our anniversary last night. But it wasn’t THAT exciting, especially to someone who gets out of the house more than about once a year. We grabbed dinner at In n Out Burger, which is always fantastic and I had my first double-double ever. And it was marvelous. All the stories you’ve heard are true. Not exactly a 4-star restaurant or anything particularly fancy but it was yummy. Then we had some passes to see a movie (any movie we wanted) and we ultimately chose something that we might have seen had our seven-year-old been with us (only, don’t tell him because if he know which movie we’d actually gone to see he might just kill us in our sleep). But it was a lot of fun and the first time we’d been to an actual movie theater in AGES. And the first time we’d been to this particular movie theater ever. We definitely plan to go back because not only can you purchase movie tickets with a credit/debit card (novel idea!) but you can also use credit/debit to purchase popcorn and drinks and whatnot. Bonus! Too bad taking Liam to the movies is akin to committing suicide right about now or we’d go more often.
So I could have talked about that, but that’s pretty boring. I think you agree.
I even debated talking about how it’s Thursday and this week is just FLYING by but how that could be due to the fact that we were still on vacation on Monday which makes today feel more like a Wednesday. But how lame would that be?
So I guess I just don’t have anything to talk about at all. Maybe I’ll post tomorrow instead, you think?
