So yeah, that funk of mine has dissipated somewhat. Maybe I just finally got a reasonable perspective on life for a change. Maybe I finally got a decent night’s sleep. Maybe I had a freakin’ cup of coffee and woke up for a change. Maybe it wasn’t PMS. Because it would stand to reason that the only thing that could cure a funk caused by PMS would be a period, no? And I haven’t had one of those! So we can just go ahead and check that off our list.
A friend suggested that maybe the funk came from, you know, being pregnant. Honestly? Hadn’t considered it. Because I just don’t get pregnant. Trust me. Six years of pain and agony taught me that. Clomid can get me pregnant. Mere happenstance cannot.
I’m not keeping any detailed records or anything and my memory is like swiss cheese these days anyhow. So I don’t really recall when the last period was. I’m THINKING it was around Liam’s birthday last month because I remember having “that thought”. You know, the “of course” thought. Because I wasn’t feeling hormonal enough already. But if that’s true, then it’s definitely been more than 28 days. Not that postpartum periods can be that reliable. But I’m generally pretty much like clockwork even with the whole not ovulating thing. (Which is part of the reason I had such a hard time buying the whole not ovulating thing.)
Is it possible? SURE, anything is possible. Never say never and all that rot. Is it unlikely? HIGHLY. I’m guessing one of two things will happen. I’ll either start my period and the point will be moot or I will start feeling kicking here in a couple months. I’m gonna put my money on the former, how about you?

Hmmm, if it was ME, I’d pee on a stick or 12, but then I’ll also pee on a stick in the middle of my period if the mood strikes me just right. So, that’s probably not useful advice ; ) Also, not a sound financial investment. Luckily, I discovered the $1 tests from the Dollar Tree.

Isn’t that what pregnancy is all about? lying down and eating chocolate? I’m sure somebody told me that once…

Stranger things have happened.
Heck, I just peed on a stick and I can’t remember if I even had me some sex this last month. And I was one day late. And I’m on the pill.
Hormones will do some funky things. I haven’t had a ‘normal’ period yet since Henry was born. I guess I just don’t know what normal is anymore.
