I can write about how yesterday was a half day at school and the only thing that saved Harry’s life was watching “Sky High” off the DVR.  That child has a lot of pent up energy lately.

I can write about how Liam is such an imp but so cute at the same time.  I truly do wonder how we got so lucky to have such an awesome kid the second time around.

I can write about how Harry got 100% on his spelling test.  AGAIN.  He hasn’t missed a single word so far this year, two months into the school year.  I’m incredibly proud.

I can write about how Harry can look up into the night sky and pick out constellations (his favorite is the Big Dipper, but whose isn’t?) and point out Mars to us.  I love how he loves astronomy.

I can write about how we went grocery shopping today and it was an ordeal as usual.  We got an enormous amount of crap for the money we spent.  Putting away the groceries, you could tell a pregnant lady with unhealthy cravings and an empty stomach was in charge of the snack purchases.

I could talk about how I was in a snarky mood all day long.  I think the day just got off on the wrong foot for me.  Perhaps I shouldn’t have forgone that cup of coffee this morning.

I could talk about how we went to the drive in tonight to see “Rush Hour 3″.  Very fun.  We tried to stay for “Harry Potter 5″ but Harry pooped out (again) and we decided we’d best head home.  But still, we had a good time.

I could talk about how Liam wouldn’t go to sleep until after 9pm, that he was so jazzed to be at the drive in and spent large amounts of time shrieking at the movie screen and cackling at his brother.  It was so funny to watch, that I didn’t mind missing a bit of the movie here and there.  He finally gave up the ghost shortly after he BIT ME.  Stinker.

What I can’t talk about is the other things that are weighing on my mind lately that I’d like to get off my chest.   That makes me sad.  After all, what is a blog for?
