My life is complete once more, for I have found it. My beloved body pillow has been restored to me once more and again life has meaning. And nights have sleep. Sweet, sweet, blessed sleep. See, it doesn’t look like much, does it? Sort of understuffed, almost. Lumpy, for sure. Flannel on one side, ribbed velour on the other. It’s seen me through several pregnancies, heartaches, backaches and even a broken ankle. When it need it, little else will do in it’s place.
Where did I find it, you ask? Funny story. Turns out, it was with all our drive-in “stuff”. We tend to make a nest out of the back of our van and fill it with sleeping bags, blankets, pillows and whatnot. And somehow my body pillow was included in that and I’d forgotten. Whoops! So it was out in the garage with the sleeping bags and other nest goodness. Fancy that, huh? I knew I’d find it eventually. I’m glad because I really didn’t want to have buy another. Not just because I’m cheap, but because I think this pillow is the best.

My dear blogfriend (and why just blogfriend? when does a blogfriend become just a friend?) Brit from Running Stich sent me an awesome package. It included a dyed tshirt for Harry, a dyed onesie for Liam, a bunch of Harry Potter themed candy (the exploding bonbons are a huge hit around here) and this totally cute handmade purse for me. Isn’t it just adorable? So apparently, blogfriends become just a friend when they send you totally awesome stuff. Thanks, Brit. You rock my socks. Harry is completely impressed that you were able to make such a colorful shirt all by yourself. And Kile has been jealously eying the purse. I think I might have to hide it tonight so he doesn’t try to make off with it. Because it is totally cute. I may just love it forever and ever.

Congrats on the pregnancy and finding the body pillow. I too have a beloved body pillow that I simply cannot live without. I have no idea how I lived into my 30s without it. I purchased it in July and it has been the best thing ever.

I am so jealous of that body pillow. It looks so squish and comfortable. I am glad you found it. Now maybe with the pillow you will sleep better and that will help the mood. That purse is cute…. Not sure how Kile would look with it though…

I’m glad you like it!! I love the one I made for myself and I especially loved the chocolate frogs that accidentally fell out of your package and I had to eat…it’s hard being me…
