Done and Done

No more Christmas shopping.  EVER.

Wait.

No, not EVER, but at least this year.

Or at least, not until after Christmas.

See, that’s what I’m waiting for this year.  The After-Christmas Sales are something to behold.  And after Christmas we won’t have the budget restrictions that we have right now.  I’m hoping to find some awesome deals on new boots and be able to get myself some new glasses (at last!).  Shoot, I can even get myself a new hairbrush!  Kile stole my hairbrush and now I’m relegated to using a comb and that just ain’t right.

Anyhow, the point is:  We finished our Christmas shopping today.  Now, the presents do need to be wrapped, and some need to be shipped.  But hopefully that’ll be taken care of before the week is out.  I never have to wander the aisles of the local stores and wonder WHY THE HECK NO ONE CARRIES SIZE 8-10 BOYS SWEATPANTS??  Well, Walmart carries them but they haven’t had any in stock the last several week that aren’t orange or red.  And… no.  Just… no.

So I have to keep the presents hidden from the natives.  I’m hoping to wrap them soon, but right now I have zero motivation for that.  It’s enough that they’re purchased and sitting in the closet (god, I hope Harry doesn’t read my blog).  I’m really looking forward to Christmas this year.  I hope the boys have a great Christmas too.  I know Liam will, he won’t know any different.  But Harry has asked for some things that just weren’t feasible.   And I hope he won’t be disappointed when he doesn’t get those under the tree Christmas morning.  I don’t think he will, he’s not that sort of kid.  He’s pretty pragmatic.  But still.

Anyhow, I’m sure it will be great.  And I’m just thrilled that I don’t have to agonize over purchases or fight crowds anymore. Mall, you won’t see me until the 26th, at LEAST.

I bought glasses from them. So has my sister and several co-workers. They are cheap. And when I say cheap I don’t mean $100 cheap. I mean as little as $15 cheap (with shipping included). I think mine were $25 total.
