I wish I could tell you all these pictures came from today… but they didn’t. Some were from Wednesday. One was from Friday. The last two are from today. So yeah. Anyhow. It was a LONG day, ya’ll. The boys had a GREAT time at Monster Jam last night (yes, they did end up going after all) and arranged to meet some of our friends at a Home Show here in town this morning. Which we did. And, wouldn’t you know it, it involved walking for about 20 miles. First, we had to walk from the car to the convention center because we’re far too cheap to pay the exorbitant price the convention center pays for parking. Then, this was like the biggest show in all of history because it involved boats and RVs too and HOLY GOD it never ended. A couple hours later we just had to leave, even before we’d seen everything because I was afraid I was going to collapse right there on the spot. I held out as long as I could (probably not my best move) as I wanted to see as much of everything as we could, but it soon became apparent that if I wasn’t careful I was going to end up having that baby RIGHT THERE next to the paver stones, marble countertops and hardwood flooring samples. You know, then we had to walk the 10 miles back to the van. I swear to you, I almost didn’t make it. I was walking with the pace of a snail before we got there because I quite simply COULD NOT go any faster.
So now I am at home, in my chair with a heating pad on my screaming back. And trying to ignore the way the Braxton Hicks are trying to cut off my air supply all together.

What do you know? He CAN look sweet and cute and not at all monster-ish!

Taken after Pup’s surgery this week. She could barely keep her eyes open, the poor thing.

Still, she’s cute, isn’t she? Doing better, but still rather peeked.

Sometimes, I put the table in front of the TV to discourage him from turning it off (yes, even with the shield there). Doesn’t really work, does it?

For the most part, Liam has been a cranky monster the last couple days. Nothing is making him happy.

I suspect more teeth. Which may mean another ear infection. LOVELY.

Awww poor little guy. The only time my eldest got ear infections was when she was getting teeth. I felt so bad - not only do your gums hurt but those damn ears have to act up as well.
You gotta watch all of that walking at this stage, chickie. Although who am I to talk? My mom came down to visit around the time when my first was due only to find me still very much pregnant. It was Thanksgiving and she had me up and walking around the damn mall every single day. Nothing worked and I had to be induced anyway.
The worst side effect? Cankles. Take it easy. You have less than 2 weeks until your little girl is here! EEeeee!! <– excited
