Evie has earned herself her first nickname here at Chez Slackermama. Suckfiend. She comes by it honestly, let me tell you. She gets a little weird at night, where she would like nothing more than to just permanently attach herself to one of my appendages. One of two, to be specific. She can’t possibly still be hungry but yet she still will suction herself to me as if her life depends on it. This morning I decided not to fight the will of the suckfiend, but instead just went ahead and got up because the few extra minutes of sleep I might be able to get wouldn’t be worth the struggle to keep her sucking. Oh, and pacifiers don’t really help. At least the one we had upstairs didn’t. We bought her some new ones that she seems to like better but of course they were both downstairs in the diaper bag.
Anyhow. She’s a suckfiend. She’s a cute suckfiend, but a suckfiend nonetheless.
Just looking at this picture is making me sleepy. She makes sleep look GOOD.

As you can (kind of) tell in this picture, her hair is neither 100% brown or 100% blonde. It’s a mixture.
I wish I could bottle up these snuggles and sell them on Etsy. I’d make a fortune.

She is SO precious. She makes me miss the newborn days. (But it will DEFINITELY be a LOOOONG time before we make that journey again.)
Pacifiers are such an odd thing. Everyone I knew was all like “Soothies! Babies love Soothies!” All babies except mine, apparently.

Nah - if you could bottle those snuggles? You’d hold everyone one tight and relish them for the rest of your life!! How sweet she is!!
DD didn’t like pacis either.. which was a good and bad thing! LOL
